A few months ago we shared our vision of setting up a physical place in the heart of Stroud – the Stroud Environment and Wellbeing Centre. A place where everyone could go to gain impartial advice on making environmental upgrades to their homes, as well as wider support for living well.
As a stepping stone towards this bigger project, we’d like to plan a temporary Sustainable Home Exhibition. A practical exhibition that brings together sustainable business and organisations with local residents interested in improving their home. We think that giving the people of Stroud a chance to speak face to face with the right organisations will lead to homes that are more sustainable, and to households with improved wellbeing. And it will also be a boost to local businesses too.
Do you want to take part?
Before we go ahead with planning, we’d like to hear from you. We have put together a short survey to gauge appetite from potential attendees and for exhibitors for this idea. Complete the survey
We are looking for survey responses from both potential attendees AND organisations that deliver solutions. Please share the survey link to all the relevant people you know!
What happens next?
We will collect survey responses till 14th February, then start making plans for how – and where – we’d like to set the exhibition up. If you’re interested in helping to do this please do reach out by contacting us.
