🚴♂️ E-bike Boost for Horsley 🌱
We're excited to announce that the Benno Boost e-bike is now available in Horsley, thanks to Transition Stroud and Stroud District Council, in collaboration with The Bike Drop and the Horsley Walking and Cycling Project (HWCP)!
With its powerful electric assist, impressive cargo capacity, and versatility, the Benno Boost is designed to tackle our area's hills while helping to reduce carbon emissions and ease traffic congestion. 🌍🚴♀️
John Tierney, Pedal Power Coordinator, shares, “We’re thrilled to introduce the Benno Boost to Horsley, adding to our fleet of cargo bikes in Stonehouse, Minchinhampton, and Brimscombe. This partnership reflects our joint commitment to making sustainable, active travel accessible to everyone.”

Transition Stroud is proud to be part of this initiative, further supporting our efforts to reduce car dependence and create a healthier, greener Stroud District. 🚲💚 A huge thanks to The Bike Drop for supplying and servicing all the e-bikes and to HWCP for providing a shelter for the bike when it’s not on hire.
Tim Bevan from HWCP adds, “With the support of Horsley Parish Council, we’ve been working to enhance cycling facilities in Horsley. Partnering with Pedal Power to offer e-bike hire is the perfect addition to our efforts."
🎉 To celebrate, we’re hosting GoCycle Horsley on Sunday 16th March at 2pm at Horsley Village Hall! Join us for an afternoon of cycling fun and the chance to try out the new e-bike. 🚲✨
📅 Special offer: Book the Benno Boost now for just £70 a month (winter rate, including all accessories). Rates will change in April.
